These same lines do not appear when I use Elgatos Game Capture HD program. When I run it through OBS Studio there are horizontal lines running through the picture that are very apparent when the camera and character are moving. Hopefully this helps anyone else that runs into these problems. I am using the Elgato Game Capture HD 60 S to stream my WiiU game play.

I never saw that I didn't need to have Elgato capture software running to get it to come through OBS. Whether you want to build out a professional streaming channel or just want to share your gaming.

Some times I could click on the icon and nothing would happen. Here is what I have done through some trial and error with the help they provided:ġ) I removed all my sources related to the webcam and elgato capture from OBS.Ģ) Next I unistalled the Elgato game capture software, rebooted, and reinstalled.ģ) I opened task manager and hit "end task" for anything related to OBS and elgato. At the bottom right, click on 'Global sources'.
